If it was up to me, ahh’d let ya go, but the lads have a temper, and they’ve been drinkin’ all day!
Last year I lost 40 pounds with a combination of diet and exercise (mostly diet). I started cheating around the holidays, ended up putting 10lbs back on, and haven’t exercised since.
I’m back on the wagon, as of this morning.
Last March I weighed in at 280, by far the heaviest I’ve ever been. After several months of dieting, I dropped to 240, which I probably haven’t been since high school. Right now, my weight fluctuates between 250 and 255.
My goal is to lost 70 pounds by the end of the year. That’s 10 pounds per month, which I feel is completely reasonable and healthy. I’m not going to starve myself. I’m going to have bad days. But I’m going to get through it.
My last hurrah was, appropriately enough, my birthday weekend. I rang in my 27th year with a few beers, some steak at the hibachi, and a cupcake.
I’m going to make this happen.
